Personalized coaching strategies for your present & future.

1:1 Coaching

The time is always right to invest in our personal development. These engagements provide a safe space to dive deep into your background, skills, and vision for the future. We utilize the process of Connect, Craft and Commit to create the path of accountability, in order to align your passion and talents, leading to your highest possible outcome. This includes: Leadership & Strategy Assessments, Career Aspirations & Development, Career Transitions, and Life & Wellness.

Team & Organization Transformation

Flourishing teams and organizations have amazing people that create thriving cultures. Investing in Emerging Leaders and programs to develop the next generation of leaders is key for that culture to be dynamic and sustainable. As with all businesses, challenges are abundant, and may be internal or external in nature. Often times they are embedded in Communication, Relationships, Alignment, Execution, and/or Capacity within a team / organization. Utilizing specific resources, we can identify the areas that need attention to jumpstart and maximize team performance.

Unique Engagements

Rallying teams around mission and goals is critical to any organization. In the busyness of "achieving our goals", our habits and patterns can slowly shift and personal, and organizational "drift" can occur. Continued focus on developing our self-awareness, how we communicate and receive information, and building the confidence to share the best versions of ourselves will lift everyone around us...family, community, and our organizations.

The Why Behind Coaching

New York Times best-selling author, Bob Goff says, “We are all rough drafts of the people we are still becoming.” Learning in the school of life is perpetual, for each of us. I am amazed each day by the knowledge and wisdom shared with me. Sharing and collaborating with others in pursuit of the best version of ourselves is a worthy calling, which I don't take lightly while embracing the joy found in the midst of it.

What’s Behind the Name

Setbacks are memorable "teachers" or "lessons" for each of us. When we begin to see them that way, we pick ourselves up, learn and gain strength from it and become a better version of ourselves on the other side. When working with us, we uncover the strengths within that person or organization, from the incredible wins to the magnificent lessons learned.

The Buzz on Business Podcast

On this episode of the Buzz on Business, Alexis Hightower and Dean Ken Eastman sit down with me and discuss my time at Stryker, how I stayed motivated to reach quotas, and how I got involved in Spears Mentoring Program at Oklahoma State University.

Hi, I’m Nate McCalla.

Founder & Coach of Alabaster Advisors

A 20 year MedTech veteran, I held roles ranging from Marketing, Sales, Sales Management, Strategic Sales, and Sales Leadership. Since 2008 I have had the pleasure to lead teams across 4 different businesses at a preeminent MedTech organization. Investing in talent and intentionally building emerging leaders, strategically accelerating the onboarding of new team members, and aligning everyone towards meaningful goals are cornerstones for leaders of impact.

My story of personal development has taken a very unique path, I have begun incorporating the leadership programs from GiANT Worldwide, becoming a Certified Guide in their amazing content. The Chikly Institute was where I found Heart Centered Therapy, learning techniques for tuning into the Wisdom of the Heart. I have also completed PSYCH-K Facilitator coursework to learn about the impact of our subconscious mind, and how to identify limiting beliefs that create unhealthy patterns in our lives, then redesign them with new positive and emotionally meaningful beliefs.

I have also enjoyed spending time giving back to my communities, including being a mentor at my alma mater, Oklahoma State University. I have also served my ward as a City Councilmen, plus served as Board Chair for the local YMCA, along with leading a team within our church. I am in the process of building out a mentoring program for our local organization that assists the homeless within our community.

Working to integrate these tools with my previous experiences will be a perpetual journey, for which I am grateful and committed to pursue!

I was born and raised in Chickasha, OK. I have lived in Texas, Michigan, and Chicago throughout my career. I have traveled for all of my career, and traveling to connect with clients continues to be an option I offer. My wife and I are excited to be back home in Oklahoma raising our 2 wonderful kids.
